Its not just the temperature here in the uk , is getting hot, its also public opinion and the political landscape is as well. :Labour wants to continue to be a centre right party and hopes a new leader with charisma will make them popular again[but not a chance in policies], the tory's in their wilderness years are latching onto anything trump like that will bring them attention again.

The commons as show by its public debate on israeli influence where mainly only people with israelis influence in mind filled its seats, where courts now, favour the government over the law because they are afraid of damaging national interest of outside countries, we have another new party with its leader already taking money from outsiders and bringing a trump like fascism fueled on immigrantion and hatred, and most of the media are afraid to bring news[the truth] in case they get hammered by powerful lobby groups[that the government dont want to talk about],

Its just a pigs breakfast and the situation is getting worse and out of control. News and newspapers used to be the daily fair for most british people but more and more people are moving away from it, because they cant trust their news, to bring them the actual news rather than a debate on whats happening..this is your time, Zeteouk and your staff to make a difference, because we are gonna need it[the truth] in place, for the next election, lest trumps madness and corruption spreads here,too....and some like me [think its already here] :(

Yes @jon gazzard one cannot be complacent about the spread you speak of, and Zeteo UK is a bold and welcome step forward in creating the beginnings of an alternative media landscape. We need to get behind Zeteo UK and support it in whatever ways we possibly can; I’d also say the same about The Nerve which seems full of promise.

Andy Burnham’s speech today gave me hope that the Labour Party won’t keep on nudging and edging towards the right. His policy ideas seem a little anachronistic but he also outlined some good proposals about regeneration and decentralisation of political power. Fingers crossed he’s around long enough to provide us all with an end to boring old austerity. Much as I loathe Trump, by comparison the UK political scene seems stuck in the doldrums, so let’s look forward in future to some hope, positive action and colour.

sadly for me, his selection of his chief of staff and others ,means just a blairite vision of basically the same as starmers, just without the lame starmer policymaking which he then retracts, instead this will be with more charisma and a centralism of policies towards the north of england, i remain unconvinced to his motives even as far as the water companies....i remain open but cautious that this is more centralist right, but with a shinner spin :(
