Debunked! 9 False Claims Made by Rupert Lowe to Joe Rogan About Muslims, Migrants and More

The Restore Britain MP's description of the Dunblane massacre as 'one murder' has been widely and rightly condemned. But at Zeteo UK, we call out his many other offensive and ridiculous claims.

Expelled from Reform UK in 2025 following findings of “credible evidence” that he and his staff mistreated two female team members in ways that “seem to amount to harassment”, Rupert Lowe MP launched an anti-migrant party of his own, Restore Britain. It is even further right than Reform, and Lowe’s very own crowdfunded “rape gang inquiry report” into the sexual exploitation of children in the UK is its main output so far. This week, he brought that project to Joe Rogan, the American comedian whose podcast, ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’, is among the most listened-to shows in the world.

The BBC, Telegraph and Sky News – to name a few – have reported on Lowe’s deeply offensive assertion that the Dunblane massacre of 16 children and one teacher in 1996 was “one murder”, but they failed to mention that this was just one false claim among many. Lowe spent a full two hours not just pushing ridiculous conspiracy theories on everything from the COVID vaccine to the Fabian Society but spouting dangerous far-right propaganda in which he repeatedly demonised Islam, Muslims, migrants and more, while heaping praise on British imperialism and colonialism.

Zeteo UK listened so you don’t have to. Here are nine of Rupert Lowe’s most egregious claims debunked.

Claim 1: Rape Gangs

“We did it [the rape gang inquiry report] because the government will not have a statutory inquiry … We’ve estimated that a minimum of a quarter of a million rapes have taken place. It’s probably much, much more, Joe… I’m gonna call them what they are. They’re Pakistani Muslim rape gangs”

False.
