ICYMI: Nadia Sawalha Talks ITV, Gaza, and More in Her Exclusive Sit-Down With Zeteo UK’s Sangita Myska

In the first episode of Zeteo UK’s new podcast ‘Sangita Meets…’, the outspoken TV presenter and actress opens up about her controversial removal from ‘Loose Women’ after decrying the genocide in Gaza.

She’s had roles on hit shows like ‘EastEnders’ and ‘Casualty’, but British-Jordanian actress Nadia Sawahla is perhaps best known as a presenter on ITV’s ‘Loose Women’ for 27 years. That is, until she started speaking out against the genocide in Gaza and was pulled off the show.

She’s now launching legal action against ITV and, in her first independent media interview since then, she tells Zeteo UK’s Sangita Myska that behind the scenes, some of the show’s famous guests would thank her for speaking out, but only in hushed tones.

“I cannot understand why it’s so terrifying,” she says. “Why is everybody bloody whispering about an atrocity, an absolute atrocity that we can watch live?”

If you haven’t seen it yet, watch her exclusive “Sangita Meets…” interview above to hear Nadia talk about the call that pulled her off air, what she hopes to achieve, and why she won’t stop speaking out about Gaza.

Paid subscribers can watch the interview in full, while free subscribers get a four-minute preview. Consider upgrading your subscription to get first access to who Sangita is meeting next, along with all of Zeteo UK’s content.
